We are excited to welcome Irene Barton, Executive Director at Cobb Collaborative, to the April 8th Cobb Business Women’s luncheon as our Featured Speaker!

Driven by a deep passion for service to the community, Irene is focused on advancing access to essential services including healthcare, education, and social support for all residents. Her work is grounded in the belief that every individual—regardless of background, circumstance, or income – deserves the opportunity to thrive. She serves on several local advisory boards and is the 2026 President of the South Cobb Business Association. She has been recognized for her community service at the state and local levels with several commendations. 

Cobb Collaborative is a membership of nonprofit organizations, local government, businesses, faith-based organizations, educational institutions, professional organizations, associations, and citizens who share ideas expertise and resources to meet the needs of Cobb County.

The Extension is our non-profit for April. The Extension has helped hundreds of adults experiencing homelessness in Cobb County take control of their lives back from drug and alcohol addiction.
